Thought is the core of intelligence. Because human beings put to use our unique ability of thought, we can recognize,transform the world continuously, we can create brilliant and magnificent material and spirit civilization continuously, so the competition of the world today is the competition of thought finally. As a mother tongue teaching language, Chinese has irreplaceable function in training and expanding the thought of students, for Chinese is a subject with both foundation and instrument. On the other hand, Chinese is a kind of course which train students combining thought and language together. At Chinese teaching, thought and language are promoting and complementing each other. This paper is aimed at present conditions that neglect the training of students'thought in Chinese teaching, expound the importance of training, strive to establish the training system, explore the particular methods and condition in order to train students'thought. My purpose is to develop students'thought thoroughly and improve the students'comprehensive quality of learning Chinese.
