It is natural for this paper to focus its attention onthe topic "On the Target of Vocational Education in China's HigherEducation and Its realization".Broadly speaking, vocational education falls into two categories,namely the broad way and the narrow way. The former refers to thecultivation activities aimed at training recipients necessary skills to satisfytheir need on their own vocation or to get rich quick; the latter refersprocedures of education for personalities to meet the demand of the socialand economic development. The vocational education target system consists of 3 keyelements, such as vocational consciousness, vocational individuality andvocational talents.The vocational education needs the support of vocational personality,and vocational education target must uphold the basic requirement forpersonality, which covers the cognition of vocational tendency, vocationalspirits and vocational traits.The vocational education wants the participation of the vocationaltalents. The vocational talents set forth for the essential purpose of thevocational education target system in a higher education institute, whichincludes the sharp insight into the market, the decision-making ability, man-power gathering capability, financing power and managing will forvocational education.Setting the target clear-cut serves the purpose for the guiding actions.In order to achieve the major task of vocational education, the highereducation institutes must perform the practice for vocational educationwhile in order to push ahead the business of vocational education, theinstitutes must design vocational education course system, especially layingcourses for vocational education, reforming the teaching mode forvocational education, upgrading the quality of vocational education,liberating the ideology, and finally probing actively into the new models ofcreating new co-operations between the enterprises and the universities. |
