What makes teaching and learning diplex passive is the way of teaching"duck-fed"during the teaching process. To students, there is no question to ask. Their thinking is controlled by others and they never doubt anything. All of these can come out one point: the lack of consciousness. The new teaching reform makes it clear that we ought to pay attention to the students'development, cultivate and improve their science quality. So it is necessary to study students'question consciousness which could draw the attention of teachers."Quality education"is the chief keynote in subject instruction and the core of which is to cultivate students'creativeness and practicality. In cultivating and improving students'creativeness and practicality, question consciousness lays the important effect and it is one of the pivotal factors in the growth of an innovative learner. A learner can be labeled as creative if he or she is good at discovering questions, never hesitates to ask questions and can ask questions in an inspired way. This paper aims at carrying out"quality education"and the new course scheme and exploring the instruction practice in how to cultivate the students'question consciousness. By investigating and analyzing the actuality of middle school students'question consciousness in chemistry learning, we point out the primary factors which influence students'question consciousness, and some principles, strategies and detailed methods combining my own instruction practice. The essential thing in developing the students'question consciousness is that we should build up a new student-oriented theory, realizing the change from teacher-oriented, class-oriented and text-oriented to student-oriented and question-oriented to let students be the owner of learning.
