The course structure of installation variation and selectivity is a big characteristic of new course reform, let student have the development of character is the one of goal of course reform , and the realization of this goal require student must have ability of selecting to study. This paper is taking high school student as research, combine modern teaching theoretical and psychology theory for elephant, with the various research techniques such as document analysis and investigation to study and discuss the ability of selecting to study of high school student, it will offer the guidance of theory and practice for raising the ability of selecting to study of high school student, making the basic education of our country enter a brand-new times.The work done by this paper and the accomplishment that obtains are as follows:1. Define definition and intension for the ability of selecting to study of high school student. Through information analysis method, defining the ability of selecting to study clearly , and having founded the four dimension degrees of the ability of selecting to study , those are acting on one's own to select learning consciousness , knowing condition of selecting to study , forming result of selecting to study , developing campaign of selecting to study.2. Know the option of high school student to study the present situation of ability. Know to be interest in roll investigation law understanding the option of high school student the present situation of learning ability, show as a result: (1)the option of high school student learning ability overall development level is not disequilibrium high , and each essential factor develops , in which develop the ability of selecting learning campaign to look more hysteretic ;(2) male schoolgirl only in option learning total ability as well as autonomous option learning consciousness on existence significance discrepancy.3. Analysis affects the option of high school student to study the factor of ability. Know to be interest in the research techniques such as roll investigation and information analysis, reach influence the option of high school student the factor of learning ability have strong autonomous consciousness and all-directional option mainly proper option as well as the option method of guidance, certain responsibility mission sense and science train wait for 5 aspects.4. Research affects the factor of the chemical course modular option of high school student. With questionnaire investigation law for affecting the option of high school student, the factor of chemical course modular is studied , shows as a result: Different writing and reason the option of student for course modular of trend existence self interest and the demand of certain discrepancy and future development is influence student option the demand of the university entrance exam and the first essential factor of course modular for student option course modular produce greater restriction role and student expectation in option course modular before get more help.5. Suggest that the strategy that training high school student selects to study ability is suggested. With the methods such as information analysis and investigation research, have suggested that training high school student selects to study the tactful suggestion of ability: (1)guidance student to form autonomous consciousness; (2)the opportunity of studying to student option; (3) help student grasp option method; (4)encourage student participate in option train; (5)guide student develop learning campaign.
