The Chinese Curriculum Standard of Ordinary Senior High School (Experimental) indicates: 'The Chinese Curriculum of senior high school has to carry forward and cultivate the national spirit; plunge students into the influence of the excellent culture; model dignities of the mind of love for motherland and Chinese civilization; thereby, develop devotion to the progress of mankind. At the same time, students should form healthy glorious emotions and positive attitude towards life.' The textbook plays a core role in teaching materials, which is the tool of fulfilling Standard of Ordinary, as well as the important medium of teaching. The model essays chosen must reflect individual dignity, value, ideal, belief, sentiments, and will, showing human idea,soul and spirit. It will make students strive for basic knowledge and skills in the study of Chinese, and therefore actively aware of the pursuit of bettering themselves. As a result, they can realize the view of nation value.The Chinese Textbook of Ordinary Senior High School of Jiangsu consists of special plate with humanity subject leading, thus bringing the freshness, life and vitality to Chinese class. This article is intended to study the Chinese Compulsory Textbook of Ordinary Senior High School of Jiangsu. It inquires into humanity development and corresponding teaching design strategies from life, emotion, and nation, which wishes to explore humanity mission of Chinese textbook from the new visual angle and point of penetration.
