As the vigorous promotion of educational informationization and the curriculum revolution,information technology has become the compulsory subject of the primary and secondary schools,whose directive function is growing increasingly.The teacher of information technology has become the pioneer of realizing the educational informationization of our nation.The information technology teachers of primary and secondary school in our country are still under the condition of survival due to multiple factors,although some infrastructure development of information technology have been done.Besides the normal teaching tasks,information technology teachers are always cumbersome with chores,scarcely can they undertake the responsibility of curriculum integration and information construction,which will obstruct the rapid development of national informatization education and the comprehensively advancement of the information technology education of the school.Based on the existing research results,this study takes the information technology teachers in the area of Luoyang as respondent,carry out the descriptive and difference analysis of the data from the questionnaire in five aspects,namely,health status,salary treatment,occupational environment,social status and professional development,combine with interviews and case analysis,and trying to present the real survival condition of information technology teachers,which expect to offer the advice of optimum survival and development for the information technology teachers in the central region and to improve the current situation of them as well.Following are the conclusion of this study.In general,information technology teachers are in the situation of marginal survival,but that phenomenon is not that obvious.Among the five dimensions of the existence state,salary and health status are in poor state,while the professional development situation is relatively optimistic,but there are some aspects that are still need to be improved.in the aspect of differences,there are significant differences among the teachers with different personal background or different teaching areas between the teachers living conditions.Combined with the survey results,this study is about to analyze the influence of the current situation due to the aspects of the individual,school and society,and on the other hand,it will provide the suggestions and the strategy to improve the current situation from multi-perspective views.
