The cultural conflicts under the globalization make middle-school students' national consciousness fall to a low level, which displays in the following several aspects ,the national identity attenuation, the feeling of national pride subduction, the national sense of responsibility flawing. The middle-school students' national consciousness should be raised urgently. The cultivation of middle-school students' national consciousness in history curriculum is to let the students form the national history culture approval, thus strengthen the national pride, the self-confidence and the sense of pride gradually, and then establish the national sense of responsibility through studying the formation and the development process of Chinese nation as well as the Chinese culture and national spirits.The contents of history curriculum contain many vivid materials of national consciousness education. The magnificent Chinese nation's ancient civilization, national heroes' patriotism and the moral character, the history of Chinese nation leading the way furiously in the humiliation, all easy to relate the students' emotion with nationality's honor or disgrace closely together. Therefore, the history curriculum has the unique status and the function in raising students' national consciousness which other disciplines are unable to substitute. However, the contents of curriculum standard, teacher's value orientation, as well as textbook's content choice and indication are not entirely as desired.The idea construction, the resources excavation, and the choice of teaching methods are several essential links during the course of national consciousness cultivation in history curriculum. When raising students' national consciousness, history teachers should have "the tender feeling and the respect" to national history, excavate the curriculum resources which suit to raise the national consciousness, choose different teaching methods. So students can form their national consciousness during the course of studying knowledge and advancing ability, and promote national consciousness in the experiencing process and the methods. In addition, while raising the students' national consciousness, we should also pay attention to raise their national disaster consciousness, and also to the unification of national consciousness's contemporaneity and world characteristic.
