With the coming of the era of knowledge-based economy, civil society and the Chinese phase of the arrival of the popularization of higher education, in order to meet the "Student Services, all-round education" educational philosophy and student growth in the demand for personalized, college student societies flourish nowadays.It is essentail for us to know the current situation of students' societies in order to promote the sustained and healthy development of these societies.Therefore, using the degree of satisfaction of the members of college community as indicators as well collecting relevant theries, this study aims to offer an analysis of the current situation of students' societies. With the application of questionare survey method, this study is intended to carry out the sample research on two dimensions of the students' degree of satisfaction: the personal background and the relevant software environment in S university. The two dimensions include five major aspects: the persoan features of individuals, the funcions of the societies, the role of the internal organization of society, the safeguard of the interests of society members, the exsiting problems of the socities. Analysis of the mutual relations between the satisfaction with the individual and with the society.The survey confirms that students' degree of satisfaction has a positive correlation with individual student and the hardware and software factors. This thesis consists five chapter.The first chapter is "Introduction". This chapter offers an introduction of the academic background like the research background, research significance, research content, research methods and procedures. The students' societies play five important roles such as cultivating morality, promoting academic study, developing originality, forming a good atmosphere and so on. However, the currect situation is far from satisfactory. Research shows the major problems lay both in the individuals and the society. So this thesis is an empirical study.Chapter Two is "The relevant concepts and related theories". This chaper offers definitions of the concept and scope, pointing out the related theories. Chapter Three is "The Survey and Analysis". This is the core part of the thesis which deals with the data analysis.Chapter Four is "The reasonable proposals" which offers suggestions on how to improve the degree of satisfaction.Chapter Five is "Conclusion" which points out the lack of innovation and shortcomings of the research and offers suggestions for the future in-depth study.
