The analyzed data in this thesis were obtained through a two-month-period questionnaire, so they are first-handed. Through the statistical analysis and epagoge of the questionnaire on the income satisfaction degree between Shanghai and HeNan province, and by using the measurable income degree to replace subjective eudemonia in order that the eudemonia degree can be caculated and compared accurately instead of just subjective explanation, this thesis finds out the relation features between income satisfaction degree and marriage of urban citizens represented by Shanghai and that of rural citizens represented by Anyang and Xinyang, HeNan Province. Also, it analyzed the similarity and difference in the relation between income satisfaction and marriage nowadays in China: among those who have been married, the average income satisfaction degree (eudemonia) is obviously higher than those who are not married; among them, males have comparatively higher average income satisfaction (eudemonia), which indicates that men obtain more eudemonia factors from marriage. In China, because of the economic and mental difference between the city and the country, the relation between income satisfaction degree and marriage has manifested some diversity, mainly as follows: 1. those who divorced in rural area has the lowest average income satisfaction among all the different marrital statuses; those who divorced in urban area has the intermediate average income satisfaction. 2. those who have a remarriage in urban area have the highest average income satisfaction among all the different marrital statuses; those who have a remarriage in rural areas have the intermediate average income satisfaction; 3. women who are single in urban areas have higher average income satisfaction than men who are single; women who are single in rural areas have the same average income satisfaction as men who are single. 4. in the questionnaire assigned to rural areas, the sample on cohabitation is zero. Meanwhile, according to those literrature reviews on the relation between subjective eudemonia and marriage in other countries in the world, comparing our country and other countries, this thesis analyzes the similarity of relation between income satisfaction degree (eudemonia) and marriage: no matter in China or other countries, those who are married have obvious higher average income satisfaction degree (eudemonia) than whose who are single; among those who are married, compared to women, men have comparatively higher average income satisfaction (eudemonia) which indicated that men obtain more eudemonia factors from marriage. At last, this thesis get some corresponding inspiration: we should accelarate the development of rural economy, promote rural people's income and achieve the promotion of rural material living standard; we should accelarate the development of rural education, promote rural people's cultural level and achieve the promotion of rural people's individual quality; we should pay great attention to rural area's cultural and entertaining life, create the spiritual civilization atmosphere; we should achieve corporate improvement and development through the mutual contest together with other countries.
