Classical Academy Regulations Ideological Content

The academy is an important educational and cultural organization in ancient history from Song dynasty. It becomes a complete system after more than 1000 years development, which accumulates rich experiences in the school forms, management system of education, as well as education teaching methods and principals. Academy spirit is the soul and essence of traditional academy education that mainly embodied on the foundation of academy system. Educational regulation system is one of essential character of ancient academy. Simultaneously, educational regulation system is a guiding principle in the academy institutional framework that equals to today's University objective. Educational regulation system mainly elaborates school objective, standard student's conduct and morals, access and method which instruct student's study and research. This article mainly carries on analysis and elaboration on the content of educational regulation system, and points out that being saints and sages is the principle and objective of academy,which is supported by three aspects including practicing moral culture, study and knowing moral conception that is also concrete implementation. Finally, through comparative analysis between ancient educational regulation system and college student standard of conduct, the article shows that educational regulation system not only has a positive instruction for construction of current college student conduct, but also has a long-standing and significant relation on student's character education,liberal education and sinology education.
