Study Of The Employment Problem Of University Graduate Students

Relevant research will be carried on the postgraduate employment problems in this thesis. Field research methods are mainly employed. Based on statistic data gathered from questionnaires and interviews, the present conditions of problems that exist in postgraduate employment, such as structural unemployment, low employment, poor employability and lacking of occupational planning etc., will be presented. Then in-depth analysis of influencing factors on postgraduate employment will be laid on the basis of human capital theory, labor market segmentation theory and social capital theory. In the end of the thesis, combined with field research results and theoretical analysis, the author will discuss and provide proposals for solving postgraduate employment problems. From angles of postgraduate, institutions of higher learning and government respectively, feasibility solutions will be put forward by the author, which aims at making a little bit contribution to relieve the postgraduate employment difficulties.
