With the further development of the Chinese curriculum reforms, the dominant position of students establish gradually, the new view of reading that focus on constructing new meaning through the dialogue of students and the text forms gradually, which not only has a strong impact on the traditional view of reading that is the center of the author and text (articles or works), but also brought a new revelation to the this seemingly simple and very practical aspects of teaching that means the introduction of the author and knowledge of background. But in teaching practice, when the knowledge of background is introduced, there are a lot of problem, such as the introduced content is random, the introduced opportunity is inappropriate, the showing angle is deviation, the using main body is single, which reveals many questions as understanding of fuzzy about the knowledge of background, deviating from the background knowledge of using and so on. Faced with this situation, I hope to provide a solution to the development of its ideas, try to put "text background" concept and gain a certain degree of interpretation, collate the basic elements of "text background" and explain its role in reading teaching, At the same time discuss the text background used in the teaching of reading strategies, which can service for text interpretation and comprehensively improve the student's language literacy. Therefore, the text background seems more important in teaching reading strategies for implementing, this article is trying to explore the role of the text background in reading teaching use the principles from the text background, the use of time, using methods.
