Enhancing education quality is priority of all the work for all colleges and universities, and teaching quality assessment is effective guarantee to enhance education quality. As reference in teaching management, assessment system is favorable for education managers to discover timely existing problems in teaching, thereby realize the enhancing of colleges overall management level. Through so many years'development, rather wholesome system has been built in teaching quality assessment. But, some existing problems still need to be improved in assessment system.。For the interrelated problems in teaching quality assessment, the author held face to face meeting with related teachers and students, current assessment situation and confusion was analyzed and discussed, many universal problems were found in assessment system, recognition rethinking and re-perfection for these problems was carried out.Through interviewing method, it was found that shortage still exists in teaching quality assessment system in our country, assessment subjects are not comprehensive enough, assessment system regarding students as main subject occupies most at present, but evaluation to workmates, teachers and teachers'direct supervisor is neglected. Otherwise for the evaluation period, it is found that assessment period is generally arranged before term examination, but as a result of the teaching characteristics of every teacher, fixed period is bound to affect the evaluation to teachers'real level,so the author considered that teaching quality assessment period should be dynamic not static. It should be assessed according to teachers'teaching characteristics and styles.Assessment indexes were ceaselessly perfected through analysis to A college's teaching quality assessment system, document method and interviewing method. Through analysis, it is obtained that main assessment objects should include students, assessment committee, direct leaders and individuals. Assessment period should be assessed based on teachers'real situations and teaching characteristics. Through enacting new main assessment subjects, assessment indexes were replenished and amended, a set of new assessment system suitable for A college was enacted and eventually proved and discussed.
