Life teaching theory, based on people's life, is a new teaching theory raised for developing and improving people's life. With the progress of the times and the society, people have turned their eyes on their own life existence. In the 2009 Math Syllabus in Vocational Schools, issued by the Ministry of Education, also the following is mentioned: Math should be a pavement for students to learn professional knowledge, master working expertise, further study and improve themselves for whole life. Therefore, this article has witnessed the adoption of the new teaching trend, namely life teaching, aiming to eliminate tediousness and get rid of mono-teaching, finally contributes to life development of students in vocational schools.The article is divided into six parts:The first part is to raise questions: mainly describing the course of choosing this topic, current research situation, main problems and principal research methods;The second part is to analyze life teaching: having made research on basics of life teaching, and defining the denotation and connotation of life teaching.The third part is to suggest detailed aims in the math class in vocational schools and six basic characters thereof;The fourth part is to demonstrate math teaching in vocational schools: finding that some math classes has embodied life teaching in some aspects and that there existing many negative phenomena of being not implement life teaching via questionnaires and interviews, then analyzing these phenomena.The fifth part is to realize the life teaching strategies in vocational schools. The article shows five basic requirements of implementing life teaching and five teaching methods and ways thereof and also offers specific designs , which is also the main contents.The sixth part is to make experiments. This article demonstrates the experiment made in two classes. Based on the above-mentioned tactics applied in current teaching, the article shows that life teaching strategies are effective and applicable through four aspects in exam achievements, researches, interviews, and homework submission.
