Contemporary college students were born in the late eighties of last century. Most of them are the only one child in family. From birth to now, they begin to have a favorable environment for the growth and an opportunity to accept the standardized education. With the protection of their parents and teachers, their growth can be said to be smooth sailing. But with the end of college entrance examination, they began to continue another new section of their life journey: the first time away from their parents, the first time to adapt to the collective life, the first time to make a decision independently, the first time ... ... There are really too many first times for these kids who were born in the eighties and nineties. After leaving home alone, some of the children even feel panicked. With the transformation of Chinese higher education system, there are many problems when the college students live in the university which could be called as the "quasi-society", such as adapting their new life, the change of living and learning patterns, interpersonal contacts, the employment and so on. Therefore, college students psychological education are urgent to carry out. Especially most of the college students have weak ability to face the frustrations. So it's important for the political educators to improve their ability to overcome difficulties and frustrations.In this paper, based on the investigations of the college students of four grades in Taiyuan University of Technology and the combination of advanced anti-frustration educational theory, we analyse the reasons of college students' frustration through manifestations, and explore effective ways to enhance their ability to withstand frustration. This not only provided a valuable theoretical basis for optimizing students'psychological quality, creating a sound environment for the growth of university students, but also on enhanced a firm empirical basis for the political educators workers.This paper can be divided into four parts. The first part described the backgrounds of the research project, indicated the serious problem of college students'poor ability to overcoming frustrations and summarized the practical significance of the research paper, as well as the writing style of this article. The second part was about the analysis of the domestic and international anti-frustration theory, contacting the manifestations of college students'resistance against frustrations to upgrade to frustration theory up to the height of practice. The third part of the article investigated the college students of four grades in Taiyuan University of Technology. According to the statistical analysis, the test results were further discussed and summarized. In the fourth part, the results based on sample surveys, the paper analysed the factors and reasons affecting students'resistance against frustrations, had provided constructive strategies and effective ways for the anti-frustration education.
