Study On The Sustainable Development Strategy Of China Coal Group

Sustainable development is the necessary choice if human beings want to achievepersistence existence and long-term development, which requires changing theconcept and model of human development fundamentally. At present, the mainproblem of current research is how to improve the efficiency of coal mining andguarantee the sustainable use and development of coal. The study focuses on ChinaNational Coal Group and mainly researches on the strategy and measures of coalenterprise’s sustainable development.Firstly, the study introduces the significance and background of the research.Then the study analyses the present situation of coal resources at home and abroadand briefly introduces the sustainable development of coal enterprise. The study takesthe sustainable development theory and theory of circular economy as the theoreticalbasis of coal enterprise’s sustainable development research.Secondly, the study briefly introduces the China National Coal Group and makesa deep analysis. It makes a comprehensive analysis of the internal and externalenvironment. And analyzed the opportunities, threats, advantages and disadvantagesChina National Coal Group faces with the method of SWOT analysis. Based on theresults, the study researches on China National Coal Group’s sustainable developmentand proposes to transfer the development mode from dominated by coal industry tovarious industries leading by non-coal industry, which is to achieve the circulareconomy development mode of coordinate developing of coal industry, coal relatedbusiness and non-coal industry.In the end, based on the reality of China National Coal Group, the study analyzesthe measures, which takes in the process of achieving sustainable development. Themeasures not only help it accomplish sustainable development, but also provideguidance for other domestic coal enterprises to take appropriate measures accordingto the characteristics of their own enterprises.
