| Plastic products act an important function in our daily life, injection molding is one of the mostly ways in the plastic molding, Therefore, It’s very important to research and improve injection molding process of production management to increase efficiency, improve quality and reduce costs.Lean production promoting just-in-time and automation during the production to meet zero inventory, eliminate waste, improve system flexibility and no defect and other management objectives, and thus to lower their operating costs and enhance the competitiveness of the enterprises. Therefore, use of lean production methods to improve the process of molding plant and solve the practical problems is the purpose of this article.In the process of F injection molding plant lean production improvement, we use the value stream management to analyze the whole production process of the injection molding plant, and found the biggest four obstacles to the value stream:plastic raw materials inventory, plastic spare parts inventory, printing spare parts inventory and finished goods inventory.We found several ways to reduce the inventory from lean thinking, such that:for inventory of raw materials, by increasing the frequency of delivery and the establishment of consignment warehouse to control and lower the inventory costs with the suppliers of raw materials; for plastic spare parts inventory and finish goods inventory we established automated scanning system of materials, automatic scheduling system and SMED to change the weekly plan to daily plan and reduce the volume of production; for printing spare parts inventory, combine the printing unit with assembly unit into a new unit with the concept of "one peace flow" and "pull" system.With the implementation of the above plans, F injection molding plant reduces the amount of inventory greatly, shorten the production cycle, enhancing the flexibility of production.And reached the desired improvement goals. |
