Taking the process of Baosteel Sintering Plant as its background, this thesis is put its focal point over the deep-bed optimized sintering test technique and its popularizing and applying. It's well known that the complete set of equipment in Baosteel was introduced from Japan in N(_|o) 1 stage project. Because the process parameters of sintering machine were unsuitable, the researches started early time by us that for sintering energy saving. These researches adopted modern sintering test technique, applied mathematical statistics method, and succeed in accurate consequence that established a firm foundation in theoretically for N(_|o) 1 stage project's remolding. Meanwhile this test's results were taken as designs basis of N(_|o) 2 stage project and N(_|o) 3 stage project of Baosteel. In the introduction and the first chapter, the above-mentioned progress and the most important results of the said test technique were described detailed in the introduction and the first chapter respectively. It tried from the later to make an analysis about deep-bed sintering technique in quantitatively. The said technique was developed twenty years ago. Our country's steel products demands have been keeping sharp from the time to now. On the other hand, the scale of technique introduced from overseas is shrinking and its quantities are decreasing in iron & steel industry, while the pace of ourselves technique renew can't follow up the speed of economic development so that the phenomena of technique hollow is serious more and more. It can be proved from our country's TFP (Total Factor Productivity) decreasing year after year since 1995. It can be said that our basic industries is still in the main condition of expanding management, in which energy sources suffers tremendous loss as well as continual development suffers damage. In the third chapter of the thesis, the focal point is put over explanation with economic principle to deep-bed sintering production in which a qualitative analysis to deep-bed sintering is made out and some importance new concepts areput forward, such as models of the deep-bed sintering production, the economic region and definition of deep-bed as so on. Counter to blurred opinions in the deep-bed, the new concept above is clear and can be taken delight in by entrepreneurs. In the fourth chapter, the questions of technology innovation and institution innovation about deep-bed sintering production are explored elementary. The institution innovation is so importance that it can determines technology achievements' popularizing and applying to great extent. In this chapter, one of new type entrepreneurs' standards in our country is pointed out which is to respect science as well to respect specialist of technique.
