As a big agricultural country, China exports many farm products to other countries in the world. After china joined WTO, the trade restricts brought by the tariff barriers and non-tariff barriers are decreased so that it's a good chance to develop the exportation of farm products. However, by force of the superiority in fields of science and technology, management, treasury and environmental protection, developed countries put forward a new kind of trade measure to protect their own trade, which impact farm products' exportation of China seriously.Under these situations, based on studying the content and characteristics of green barriers and analyzing the impact of green barriers to China, some countermeasures should been put forwards in order to make the trades in China develop harmoniously with the environments and accelerate the sustainable development of foreign trades, which is very important both in theory and in practice.Firstly, according to some cases the reason why the exportation of farm products in China suffers from the green barriers is analyzed deeply. Secondly, based on analyzing the green barriers from U.S.A., Japan and European Union, the commonness and the difference are introduced, which is the theory base of putting forward next countermeauses to break the green barriers. At last, according to the practical situations of producing farm products, some contermeasures are put forward to break the green barriers, including: strengthening green concept;tring to get the passport into the international market, encouraging producing the green food products, building more channels to international market, building the green brand by implementing the brand strategy, and so on.
