Interaction Of Anp-based Technology Innovation And Economic Growth

It is an interactive influence process in the development of Technological Innovation and Economic Growth. On one hand, Technological innovation has become the main momentum and one of the most important factors for the economic growth through improving the productivity. On the other hand, economic growth can provide a more favorable grand environment and economic foundation, which will accelerate the velocity of the technological innovation process. So far there are lots of researches on the Economic Growth and Technological Innovation which are most inclined to the quantitative analysis. They divide the total contribution into the different influence factors, but the interactive influences between these factors would be neglected to some extent, besides, some important qualitative factors would be excluded from the model because they are difficult for estimate.Therefore, we aim to select a kind of analysis method which can use qualitative factors and reflect the influeces between the factors. The Analytic Network Process proposed by Professor Saaty of the University of Pittsburgh in 1996 is a multicriteria theory of measurement which can be used to analyse the relative influences between factors. It has be used in many Decision-Making problems successfully since proposed. In this paper, the ANP method will be applied in the analysis process of the Economic Growth and Technological Innovation. Thus given a factor, we can obtain the importance order of the other dependence and feedback influence factors, which can also be the basis for furture study and policy making.
