Especially now when economy is fast-developing in our country, to meet the need of developing economy at a high speed, it must develop the energy industry in a more cost-effective manner.I think that for solving the present energy's tense in China, we should give priority to the hydro energy, basic energy, such as natural gas, coal, etc. And Yunnan of our province is located in the southwest, the geographical position is superior, energy resources are wide in variety, completely categorized, there are many kinds of resources , such as hydro energy , coal , biomass energy , solar energy , wind energy , geothermal energy and oil gas ,etc, and best in quality , match well. Have advantage most with hydro energy resource especially among them; in occupy important status while being national. So develop the energy industry of Yunnan, can remedy the situation of the energy deficiency of our country effectively to a certain extent, and alleviate the pressure of energy supply.The energy development strategy of Yunnan Province in this text studies is under the environments of the energy development strategy, and development of western regions of " eleven five " in our country. It is based on Yunnan Province energy's current situation of the development and own resource condition.
