As the beginning of Chinese compulsory education, primary education is important for children's growth. With the implementation of quality education, the education of comprehensive quality for pupils has been increasing attention. At the turning point of the examination-oriented education system to quality education system in China, the teaching space design has been mature relatively. How to use the association space that outside of the teaching space that make pupils studying and communication in a good environment is received a wide publicity. The problem that meets the needs of reality,study the advanced foreign research production, and discuss the design technique of the association space in primary school architecture is full of Practical significanceThis paper take this as guiding ideology, and select primary school association space as the research object. Through literature research and field studies of actual design of primary school association space and the advantages and disadvantages, students explore the relationship between behavior and communication space, and examples of good design at home and abroad, discussed the design of appropriate methods of school building space. Paper described in four parts:Part I (Chapter 1), indicate the importance of the reserch, and point out the object of study and methods.Part II (Chapter 2), from baseline to in-depth to explain the concept of primary school association space and its formation and development. To reserch on the theory of pupil association, analysis pupils, association, association space, and analysis the respective features and links. Finally all representative survey of the four primary contact status and student exchanges between the space activities, summed up the advantages and disadvantages of various schools contact space to explore the primary communication behavior and communication spaces. The design for the study after giving both theoretical and practical support.Part III (Chapter 3), first macroscopic focus will be divided primary school association space into three types, and analysis on the various types of spatial design elements. Then proceed to microscopic analysis of all major exchanges in specific spatial characteristics of space, student characteristics and factors affecting communication, combined with excellent design example, the specific interaction of space to explore various design methods, the final form design from the macro to micro approach theory system.Part IV (Chapter 4), using third-part summary of the design theory, analysis and evaluation of domestic and international primary school association space and put forward a consummate strategy.
