With the advent of the new technological revolution,the working model and talent demand of the future society are changing,which leads to the reform of education concept.As the embodiment of educational philosophy,primary and secondary school buildings also need to make corresponding adjustments,so that in addition to providing subject teaching and behavioral norms teaching,schools can also undertake social and future-oriented responsibilities.Starting from the macro concept of educational sociality,this paper takes "STEAM education" which is conducive to cognitive socialization,"mixed-age education" which is conducive to emotional socialization,and "informal learning" which is conducive to behavioral socialization as the starting point of research.Combined with specific practical cases,this paper discusses the teaching space design strategy under the social concept.The first chapter of this article is the introduction,which explains the research background,research content and research status of the concept of educational sociality.At the same time,the concepts of "STEAM teaching","mixed-age teaching" and "informal learning" are defined,and the significance and methods of educational sociality in the construction of primary and secondary schools are clarified.The second chapter introduces the development and practice of three educational models abroad based on the concept of educational sociality.The third chapter discusses the practice of teaching space design based on the sociality of education in the Chinese context through the sorting out of domestic primary and secondary education reforms and curriculum reforms.The fourth chapter summarizes the application of the educational social concept in the architectural design of primary and secondary schools from the overall layout to the teaching unit,and sorts out teaching space design strategies that adapt to the reform of educational concepts.Chapter 5 takes Nanjing Zhonghua Middle School,Nanjing Zhihe Road 30 Elementary School,and Nanjing Baixiang 48 Elementary School that the author participated in during graduate school as examples to explore the application of design techniques based on the concept of educational sociality in the practice of architectural projects.The last chapter is the summary and outlook.
