| The honeycomb cardboard is a new environmental packaging material which has surmounted the traditional materials. Because of its fine mechanical properties honeycomb cardboard has been widely applied in each domain. At present, the researchs people make on honeycomb cardboard are limited,which have mainly studied the cushion and compression characteristics through experiments, and finally make the correlation analysis of experiment performance curve; or deduce some simple mechanical parameters of honeycomb cardboard by analyzing its theoretical model. Because of the experimental tedious instability and the theoretical caculation model's complexity, we should discover the static compression characteristic theoretical model of honeycomb cardboard which is simple and feasible.and make a further study of it.Therefore, this article has made an intensive analysis of honeycomb cardboard's static compression characteristics from the theory,experiment and finite element simulation three aspects, it mainly includes the following work:The fundamental equations appropriate for honeycomb core wallboard are derived, then the formulae of buckling half-wave and critical buckling load on wallboard are deduced; Based on the ring crush buckling theory, a series of mechanical parameters which provide the basis for the finite element analysis are infered; The static compressionrelationship between the ring crush and honeycomb paper core,honeycomb cardboard is respectively established.The ring crush of experiment of basepaper and the static compression experiment of honeycomb cardboard were carried out, the critical buckling load in the elastic stage and the plastic stage was tested, meanwhile combined with the experiment dates and theory, some mechanical parameters in ring crush and theoretical values of honeycomb cardboard's buckling characteristic were obtained, which verified that the theoretical caculation above is feasible meanwhile provided the basis for the finite element analysis.With the FEA software the static compression characteristic of honeycomb core base paper ring crush and single honeycomb core was carried out, and the static compression characteristic of them were obtained. Contrastive study on buckling characteristic of single honeycomb core theoretically derived and finite element analysis results,when ring crush parameters are concrete,was maken.Through the work above, bearing mechanics characteristic of paper honeycomb from different angles was explained. The result indicates that the finite element simulation results are almost in accordance to the theory and experment, at the same time, some conclusions which can not be verified by theory and experiment were found through finite element simulation analysis. Therefore, it is feasible to make a study of honeycomb cardboard's static compression characteristics using the simple finite element simulation analysis to replace the tedious experiment, which has good guiding significance to production practice. |
