Research On The Natural Ventilation Design Of The Primary And Secondary Schools

"5.12 Wenchuan earthquake" had caused the great loss to the the primary and secondary school buildings in Sichuan province. With the reconstruction gradually starting, the reconstruction of primary and secondary school buildings would be over, and many of the new schools had already been in used. This article, according to the wet and hot climatic characteristic in Sichuan earthquake disaster area, takes reconstruction schools as the research object of the study. From the view of architectural design, The author carries out a preliminary research into the natural ventilation design of the primary and secondary school in the method of unifying the theory and surveying.This paper is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, the author is summary of this article's background, the significance of research subject. Then, the author introduces the development of the domestic and international natural ventilation design. At the same time, through the investigation of reconstructed schools'consumption situation, the author clearly decides the topic's necessity and pressing. At last, elementary theory of the natual ventilation has been introduced, provides the theory basis for the research. In the chapter II, the author concerns the studies of the application thechnology of natural ventilation. First, through massive reading and consulting material, the author summaries the application thechnology of the natural ventilation in Sichuan traditonal buildings. Next, the author carries out a preliminary research into architectural design method through the application thechnology of natural ventilation. In the chapterⅢ, the author investigates and analysises the current situation of the natural ventilation design. Take the massive on-site investigation and the metrical data as the foundation, the author expounds present situation and the necessity of the reconstruction school buildings'natural ventilation design. Chapter four is bases on the questions found in investigation and the method of design by summarying. Considering the natural ventilation design experience of former buildings, the author proposes the methods in the architectural design's several stages:the urban wind environment, the analysis of the groud, the community natural ventilation design, the building natural ventilation design, natural ventilation servosystem design. And then, the author summarizes the suitable methods of the natural ventilation design to perfect the natural ventilation design of the primary and secondary school buildings basing on an example.The final part of this paper summarizes and reconsiders the research progress obtained in the natural ventilation of primary and secondary schools.
