| Travel behavior theory is one of the most important theories in the area of traffic management and control. Travel behavior research is a basic work for the urban traffic programming, construction. At present, the research on travel behavior at the development stage in China. Research on travel behavior only visually describes the status of the characteristics of travel behavior, based on the data in the survey. And the analysis of trip generation and trip distribution forecast is also simple. As a result of the lack of the follow-up survey data of the path of daily travel activities, few research on the relationships between a series of travel. Compared with the activity-based microscopic traffic demand theory of foreign, our research is still at the macro and representation level.Commuter travel is the most basic and important trip, compared to other travel, commuter travel is more unchangeable in time and space. The timing of commuter travel directly impact on urban residents' life and other travel options. Especially with the acceleration of urbanization process, the scope of urban employment expanded, the increasing distance of commuting travel, the gradually extended commuter travel time, so that the commuter travel increasing complex and diverse. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and study the characteristics of travel behaviors, aiming at grasping the law of commuter travel and improving the traffic environment commuter travel. About the commuter's travel behavior characteristics study, the paper has done some works as following:First, by analyzing the research situation about travel behavior deeply, the paper has summarized the basic theory and analysis method of travel behavior analysis, and the advantages and disadvantages of the diversified analysis methods, at meanwhile it also points out the problem existed in present study method. Then, we identified this research theory and method.Second, by utilizing the analysis method which based on trip-chain, the paper presents the discrepancy about trip-chain type selection behavior as the commuter has different society and economy background. Trip-chain selection model of the commuter travel has been constituted in this paper by using the discrete method. the paper also has a quantitative analysis about the commuter's trip-chain choice behavior affected by his society and economy situation. The analysis work in this paper has done a meaningful step, it is very helpful for us to comprehend the characteristic of commuter's behavior.Three, according to the research about commuter's choice behavior of trip-chain type, and by utilizing Nested Logit model, a mode choice model based on trip-chain is constituted in this paper. At meanwhile the paper has analyzed the impact relationship quantificationally between mode choice and trip-chain type choice behavior of commuter.According to resident travel behavior survey, this paper take the commuter's travel behavior character as an study object, by utilizing new analysis method, such as method based on trip-chain, the travel rule and characteristics can be elicited, which has very important reference value for us to constitute and implement the travel demand manage policy, and to solve the traffic congest problem. |
