Auxiliary system of power plant consists of water network, coal network, ash network, desulfuration network, etc. For the unit of over 300MW, most of auxiliary systems have used computer control. With the gradual development of network technology, computer technology, DCS control technology, they establish the stable foundation for these auxiliary system to be realized automatically, moreover, speed up the integrative procedure of the auxiliary control system to be connected with the integration of management and control of the whole power plant. With the rapid development of industry automation technology, the requirement of auxiliary control system for power plant is constantly improved. In the design of auxiliary system for the power plant, the comparative traditional way is based on the function of auxiliary devices that rely on independent operation in terms of three independent control systems consisting of water, coal, ash system which are usually called Programmed logic control(PLC). These independent systems are usually used by control equipments of different manufactures. The configuration software of operation station is also very different. This results in the consumption of human resources and the difficulty of commissioning command, but this difficult problem can be well solved by using the integration of auxiliary control system. It utilizes communication technology to internet the auxiliary control systems based on computer control and realizes the concentration supervision of auxiliary control systems. Meanwhile, it finishes the datum share with plant supervision information system, plant management information system and distributed control system. This system greatly improves the management efficiency of power plant and decreases the cost of operation. The success of the integration of auxiliary control system proves that the control of integration of power plant is a major development direction in future. In order to guarantee the good and high-efficient operation of devices, improve the efficiency of labor production, improve the general character of operator, meet the requirement of the operator reduction and efficiency increasing, the new way to cancel every independent control system and form a auxiliary control network of power plant comes into being. At the same time we put the datum of auxiliary control network into SIS system in order to realize the network of the whole plant and improve the competition of the power plant. It is especially noticed that the same point of the auxiliary system in the power plant is the difference of mechanic feature of every auxiliary system and to get thousands of meters for the geography position of different system. The network technology is adapted to the auxiliary system of power plant in order to realize central control relatively, reduce date-station, reduce spare elements, improve the control and supervision level of auxiliary device, which solves the phenomenon that auxiliary control system dropped behind the main control system in the past. Meanwhile it will become an important direction of development of auxiliary system in the power plant. Simultaneously, the success of design for the integration of auxiliary control system proves that the integration of the whole power plant will become main development direction in future. With the network connected with every independent auxiliary system and the allocation of maintaining original control equipment, we can control and supervise all kinds of different auxiliary system in a relative central control room, which is becoming the development direction of auxiliary system of power plant and to realize the target that the plant reduces the quantity of the operator and eliminates automatic"isolated island"phenomenon. Finally it will realize the precondition and the foundation of the integration of management and control in the whole power plant. This paper describes in detail for the auxiliary control network used by Distributed control system(DCS) in Guodian Tongling power plant project I engineering.
