Bridge crane is one of the most widely used lifting transportation machinery in transportation, such as metallurgy, mines, ports, nuclear power plant and so on , it is a essential mechanical equipment industrial production. However, the present bridge crane design method are mostly stay in half theoretical and half experiential level, the method is not perfect, not only take power consumption, but also design efficiency is low, and the overall technology content is low. Especially for the circle bridge crane (nuclear ring hanging) which is used in nuclear power plants. Currently, there are only three domestic companies has the design and production ability for nuclear ring hanging. This research is to improve the design level and efficiency of bridge crane, using parametric FEM technique to bridge cranes finite element analysis is carried out, and get a set of reliable finite element simulation analysis method. On this basis, TCL/TK graphic interface development tools is used with parametric finite element technique to develop a special bridge crane girders parametric design and analysis system based on finite element software ANSYS. At last, application of this software system was put forward to design scheme of the same type of bridge type for span increasing and section changing. The main research content of this paper is as follows:(1) Use parameter design language APDL to write the whole process finite element analysis parametric programs for number 1901 bridge crane girders, and the girder is analyzed according to the actual situation and the stress value of the key points is acquired;(2) The calculated stress value of each key point is compared with measured stress value, and compared results are analyzed, and finally the proper bridge crane girders simulation analysis method is determined;(3) Using graphical interface development tools TCL/TK, developed a parameterized design and analysis system for bridge crane girders, this system can be implanted into ANSYS to realize the whole parametric design and analysis process for main girder;(4) Using the system simple to use and quick characteristic of this software, get the main preliminary design scheme of girder span increasing and section type changing, and deep using of the software system was further instructed.
