In the water use, agriculture is the first large, industrial water is the second large.2. The guiding ideology and basic principles of the Water-saving society construction in Nanchang City was introduced, and water saving are analyzed, the results show that the water construction is endless and reasonable in Nanchang city, but the water saving is potential. And on this basis, put forward the main goal, task and measures of water-saving society construction in Nanchang city.3.The water-saving society evaluation index system in Nanchang was built. The index system consists of 1 goals,6 principles,19 indicators of three layers structure. And the analytical hierarchy process was applied to determine the weight of each index of the evaluation index system.4. The index grade evaluation standard of water-saving society was established, and the comprehensive index model was applied to evaluate, and an analysis of the construction of water-saving society in a circumstance status and planning in Nanchang City,and the evaluation results show 2009 is the initial stage,2013 at primary stage, medium stage reached in 2015,2020 at the good stage.
