The compiling of Chinese comprehensive books for foreigners is the most important in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The Chinese mainland and Taiwan compilation of TCFL comprehensive textbooks has its own characteristics. However, some foreign issued comprehensive Chinese textbooks service life is short in current, classical, first-class teaching materials are very inadequate. Therefore, the analysis on mainland and Taiwan's comprehensive Chinese textbooks is very important and meaningful.In this paper, we selected three sets of widely foreign comprehensive Chinese teaching materials in mainland and Taiwan as the research object, and use data statistics method to analyze the text of the layout, the words of the cases of solution and grammar notes and other aspects of the study in these three sets of teaching materials. This thesis is divided into six parts:The Introduction expounds the background and significance of this paper, and elaborates domestic and foreign relevant theoretical overview the research achievements. Also introduced the comprehensive teaching materials of publishing situation and pointed out some existing problems in the foreign comprehensive Chinese textbooks and the overall scheme of the research.The first chapter makes a comparative analysis on three sets of teaching material of the text layout. Respectively compared from the form, type, topic quantity, scope, expatiates the arrangement, the text of the length and difficulty, language specification and other aspects. And put forward some advices, which enhance the depth and breadth of the topic to improve the practical of the selections, in order to guarantee the timeliness and interesting topics. In addition, we also discussed the problems of text cultural factors.The second chapter three sets of teaching material statistics, the number of new words, level of grammatical items quantity and distribution, and compared the differences between words and grammar annotation, cases solutions in three sets of teaching materials.The third chapter analyzes the differences in practice topic, attribute and content analysis of three sets teaching materials. The analysis suggests that mainland textbook type practice topic primarily, elements and content to reinforce knowledge is given priority , and Taiwan teaching practice is skilled primarily, test items and content also mainly with communication. The forth chapter comprehensively summarized the differences in layout general cases, text, language points, practicing of three sets of teaching materials.The conclusion of this article reiterated the characteristics of three sets of textbooks by comparing; the innovation of this paper, the inadequacies and the future direction .And proposed the good idea of the mainland and Taiwan to write Foreign Language comprehensive teaching materials together.
