Exploration And Practice Of Professional Color Composition Teaching In Higher Normal Colleges In Chinese Painting

Color is closely related to people's Daily life. Thanks to color, life seems to be colorful and the world to be dynamic. As one of the most popular aesthetic form, color exists in all aspects of human life and coexists with development of vilization. With social and economic development, more and more people gradually focus on colorful world of cultural around us. Chinese paintings, which mark one of the highest levels Chinese civilization bounced in the world of classical culture, is the wisdom crystallization of Chinese people. The application of color in Chinese painting had been highly valued by the painters thousands of years ago. As for painters, it can be better express their true feelings if they apply visual aesthetic psychological perspective of color in painting, thus greatly improve sense of art in works and confirm with people' need of aesthetic and sensory.However, there are still a lot of people equal traditional Ink Painting with Chinese paintings, and they even regard traditional Ink Painting as the only justified criteria of Chinese painting but hardly known the critical role of which color plays in thousands of years'history in Chinese painting and its positive influence on painting development. Therefore, we must well analyze and organize the development of the color Chinese painting, so that people especially students who study Chinese painting can recognize it. Hence, it is necessary to emphasize the study of color structure and color visual psychology while inheriting the traditional painting ideas and skills in teaching. Meanwhile emphasize the research of modern visual psychology while cognizing the rules of traditional color.Composition of color is the ways which arties convey their thoughts, emotions and meaning through form and combination of color. However, the application of color is so subjective and perceptual that painters usually pay much attention to the atmosphere color created rather than the influence of color itself in subject itself. By doing so it can make fully use of comparative coordination of color and manifest the ideal effect such as strong, or quietly elegant, or dark, also perhaps is gorgeous, which is intensified by painters. Of course, these will be finished by applying both of three elements:color composition, purity and effect of color. It is crucial for artists to express their emotions and artistic conception by understanding the composition of color like principles, constituents and performance. Nevertheless, the application of color constituents in Chinese painting seems to be implicit and euphemism, freedom and do not break its role.The paper attempts to explore the historical evolution of use of color in Chinese paintings and application of color composition in teaching of Chinese painting.
