The music education in general middle and primary schools is an important part ofman’s education. Training the troops of the music teachers in general middle andprimary schools is the most important foundation and guarantee for achieving all aimsof music teaching. For the role of music teachers in music teaching, Hungarianrenowned music educator Kodaly pointed out that once there are enough music teachers,the golden period of music teaching will come. It can be seen that the excellent musicteacher training is of greatest importance to the development of music education. Howto improve the students’ music theory teaching level and practical teaching abilitiesunder the condition of Chinese current music teaching, and adapt the professional musiceducation students graduating from the Normal University to the requirement ofteaching in primary and middle schools in a context of the new course reform, hasbecome a core issue which need to be thought by each educator in our normal universityat this stage.The target of this paper is solving the above-mentioned issues, the research objectis Kodaly Music Teaching Approach, and the carrier is the Department of Music ofHeihe University. Using comprehensively survey method, induction method and so on,this paper systematically sorts out and inductively summarizes the problem of practicalapplication of Kodaly Music Teaching Approach in the Normal University. Bysystematically summarizing the teaching theory of Kodaly Music Teaching Approachand its practical application in the musical education major, this paper will provide areference copy of localizing Kodaly Teaching Approach in the Normal University.The paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction that mainly expounds the background andsignificance for the research, and research situation at home and abroad of KodalyMusic Teaching Approach.The second part introduces Kodaly Music Teaching Approach. That is divided intotwo parts: the profiles of Zoltan Kodaly and its core content and idea.The third part focuses on the practice research of Kodaly Teaching Approach in thecourses in the Normal University. This part is divided into four parts:1the practice research of Kodaly Teaching Approach in the course of solfeggio and ear training;2thatin the course of national music;3that in the course of vocal music;4that in the courseof chorus.The forth part provides the countermeasure and proposing of strengthen theconstruction of professional music education in the Normal University. This part isdivided into two parts: the reason why Kodaly Music Teaching Approach is appropriateto use in professional music education in the Normal University and the countermeasureand proposing how to strengthen the construction of professional music education ofour province.
