"Saban festival"is a traditional national group participation festival of Tartar nation. It is a pure labour festival, without any religious image .The whole process of the holiday is filled with rich cultural connotations. The ceremony music was the most important part of the holiday ,It can be said that there will be no complete"Saban festival"if there is no ceremony music. According to the research, analysis and study of the whole process,the author find out that the ceremony music can strengthen the atmosphere of the festival and can help the nation to inherit their traditional musical culture. The function of the ceremony music is unreplaceable. In the course of the holiday,they all ues their own traditioanal music.From preparation to the end,the ceremony music is always in. A nation's tradition festival is the symbol of the culture and is the bond of the cultural heritage. The use of the music in the festival can also explain the deep connotation and the transition process of the culture.The author ues the knowledge of music ,sociology and anthropology to research the ceremony music of"Saban festival"through the way of combination of the theory and the case.
