Translation Of Terms And Long Sentences In Social Science Texts

This translation report is aimed to explore useful strategies for the translation of social science texts based on the English-Chinese translation of Marx's Crises Theory of Michael Perelman published in 1987.To achieve the translation goals of being accurate,professional,readable and understandable,the author attempts to conclude some efficient translation approaches,by analyzing some typical examples from the perspective of how to well translate the terminologies and long sentences in the context of social science while improving the translation quality.Meanwhile,the translation of Marx's Crises Theory is expected to provide useful reference materials for Chinese scholars studying Marxist theories.
