The globalization goes on. Ever since the adoption of the reform and opening-up policy, there are more foreign exchanges in and out of China in the fields of politics, economy, culture, education and etc. The importance of translation is more than obvious. Translation is no longer an activity carried out by one single translator but one that combines the joint efforts by several or even more translators. Translation, nowadays, is closely connected to project management. However, the project management of translation is still in its early stage and is yet to be improved in all aspects. In the project management of translation, teamwork is an essential part of it. Here is a glimpse of the concept of teamwork. In the first chapter, there is a background description of this translation task. Also, in terms of translation, the significance of teamwork will be included in this chapter. In the second chapter, some basic information of teamwork will be introduced: the origin of the word teamwork, the difference between group and team, and the significance of teamwork in a general way. In the next chapter, the focus is switched to some specific problems that I came across during the task: the assignment of human resources and the specific task, time management, communication, and the emergence of conflicts and the solutions to them. In the conclusion part, the importance of teamwork will be strengthened again. I firmly believe that the concept of teamwork should be carried out thoroughly in the project management. Besides that, more and more excellent management concepts should be introduced in the project management of translation.
