Tibetan famous writer A lai created the novel Red Poppies, which has won the fifth Mao Dun Literature Award. Many domestic literary critics on language features and psychological descriptive, characterization and conscious aesthetic pursuit under the diversification, and the review of religious and ethnic history, understand the customs, who gives this novel high appraisal. This novel has been translated into Britain, France, Germany, Italy and other 15 countries to show foreign readers their literary value. Domestic critics has done a lot of contextual research on the Red Poppies in language content , story plot, national history, epic, multi-cultural mixed context.This novel is based on Tibetan toast of Sichuan Kham on half of the 20th century for writing. It describes the long history of ancient Tibetan toast system and the evolution process of gradual collapse and decay in the century changes. The whole text applies novel creation expression means through personality, language characteristic, mental activities and history changes, expressing love and hate, life and death of life philosophy common owned by all ethnic groups around the world. This creative way has very important significance to writing development of Tibetan and literary promotion. At the same time, it provides a learning opportunity to translation techniques of Tibetan version. However, at present, this novel has not been studied in Tibetan literature forum, and there is not a comment scholar of Tibetan translation version. Therefore, the research object of this thesis is Tibetan translation version Red Poppies, and in-depth analyzing translation skills. This study is composed of three chapters:Chapter I: Overview Red Poppies Tibetan translation version, through the introduction of several Tibetan translation versions to illustrate title translation, and explaining personal view.Chapter II: Tibetan translation version Red Poppies is mainly based on translation skills. The primary translation task is to understand the object of the translation, and which expression method is used, and then how to apply the translation techniques into words, sentences, idioms, and poems. Finally, explain them through a series of examples one by one.Chapter III: The last part discusses the pros and cons of Tibetan translation version Red Poppies, mainly based on translation theory and practice experience, to explore the favorable place of the Tibetan translation version, and a comprehensive analysis of translation problems and deficiencies.
