As a type and level of the higher education development, higher vocational education is shouldering the training mission for production, construction, service and management skills to the forefront. The higher vocational college English course become the important symbol of raising the school levels and training the higher technology and practical persons,Which Brings about the absolute superiority for educators raising the employment competition and stable development in the futureAlthough the foreign language reform has been on for 6 years, which has made many achievements, there are still many problems existing. The prominent one of the higher vocational college English teaching is ineffective teaching. Which has seriously affected the development of the higher vocational college English teaching quality and the further in-depth higher vocational college English reform The research on the effective teaching strategies of the higher vocational college English course, not only may enrich the teaching content of the higher vocational education, but also has the instructions to the higher vocational English effective teaching From the definition, characteristics, and the Empirical research as well as the strategies, this article has studied the higher vocational English effective teachingThis dissertation consists four parts.Part one is the preface which includes the studying background, the analysis of the situation, the significance, the brief introduction of domestic and international related theories and research, methods as well as contents.Part two is the study on the related notions. It will be discussed from the definition of the effective teaching, the definition of the higher vocational English effective teaching and the characteristics of the higher vocational English effective teaching. The meaning of the higher vocational English effective teaching is that the higher vocational English teachers and students should accord with the higher vocational English teaching rules; the beat efficient and benefit teaching should be used to improve the sustainable development of the higher vocational college students; can achieve the higher vocational English teaching aims effectively and the knowledge are benefit for the career of students. We got to know the characteristics of the higher vocational English effective teaching are the multiplicity of teaching goal, the propriety of teaching books, vocational teaching contents, and the scientific of teaching organization, teachers and students getting on well with each other and students developing to the best.Part three is the empirical investigation on the higher vocational English teaching through which can find some problems in our higher vocational English teaching: The inflexible and unilateral teaching pattern; teachers lack professional knowledge and practical abilities; the worse condition of engaged learning and unclear classroom teaching.Part four is the key part in the whole essay which discuses the strategies on the higher vocational English effective teaching. They are classroom effective teaching, effective classroom management and effective study instruction strategies. The discussions on the classroom effective teaching strategies in the article are increasing the quantity of effective knowledge; using scientific teaching methods. The effective classroom management strategies are mainly discussed in creating satisfactory classroom atmosphere and improving communication skills. Finally, effective study instruction strategies will be discussed by cultivating and stimulating the English study motivation; creating questions scenes and arousing students'thoughts and cultivating and stimulating the self-efficiency of students.
