This study, aiming at Chinese major students in Vietnam University, explores influences of the impact of cognitive, emotional and social factors on motivation. Firstly, I used the motivational orientation in Social psychology motive mode by Gardner to observe the performance of the Chinese learners under the Fusion motivation orientation and Instrumental motivation orientation in Vietnam. Subsequently, I investigated the influences of the students'individual factors on students'motivations. Combing Fusion motivation orientation and the cognitive psychology research which has important influence on the motivation of the expected value theory, I discussed the value attached with goals of study, which is related to the motivation factors. By adopting principle of the education of the second language on class stimulating the motivational factors I discussed the motivation factors'positive relations with the teacher behaviors. This study adopts using questionnaires. After having made reference to conditions ofthe Vietnamese Chinese learning, and combined the R.C.Gardner etc. designed AMTB attitude, motivation test scale, and three levels of motivation by Dornyei. I designed the Vietnamese Chinese students' learning motivation questionnaire. The questionnaire includes59questions. The investigating targets are149Vietnamese students in Grade one and Grade four in Shunhua Foreign language Studies University. This research uses the SPSS18.0as data statistics tools, and the data analysis methods involve factor analysis, correlation analysis and reliability analysis. After repeated after test, I removed the questions which are irrelevant. Finally I established the relationship between the motivational factors and the variable quantity. In the study, I found among the Vietnamese Chinese learners, the Fusion motivation orientation is the main motivation orientation, whose influence is stronger than the instrumental motivation. Expectations in the expectations theory, value factors and Fusion motivation orientation Instrumental motivation orientation are related. The Grade four students' values of studying goals are high than the ones in Grade one. Besides, the research also indicates that higher grade, higher instrumental motivations. The research on study anxiety tells that the students in Grade one have more anxiety than those in Grade four. When it comes to the evaluation of teachers, the boys share the more unsatisfaction than the girls. The research also confirms that in different countries, different societies and different educational backgrounds, people have different motivations of studying the second foreign language. In Vietnam, in Expected Value Theory, the value attached to the study target is the major factor influencing the studying of Chinese in Vietnam.According to the results of this study, in the end, this paper also stands at the point of view of improving the motivation of students'learning Chinese, raising some suggestions for the teachers in the teaching, in order to enrich experience of the Chinese education in Vietnam.
