The wetland and the forest,the sea and are called the whole world three big ecosystem,the wetland have both the economic value and the ecological value,the wetland have maintain the water source,the purification water quality,store floodwater for use against drought,ecology functions and so on adjustment climate and maintenance biodiversity,the healthy wetland ecosystem is the country ecological security important component and the economic society sustainable development important basis.The protection wetland,regarding the maintenance ecological equilibrium,the improvement ecological regime,promotes the human and the nature has the vital significance harmoniously.Wetland is playing a very important role.Based on the definition of the wetlands presented and summary of their characters, the value of wetlands is quite big.With the problems existing during utilization and protection of wetlands in China,the wetlands are decrescing seriously. The solutions for these problems,it means strength the protection through legislation.Under the background of lacking of wetland protection legislation at the national level,it is urgent to protect the wetland resources of China.However,there're some wetland protection legislations at local level already,although our country's wetland protection's legal research is just at the primary stage ,there still have many advantages for our reference.Then,this article intends to put forward the benefical proposals of improvement in wetland protectionleg legislation by means of the analysis on the existing problems that I've summarized.
