Study On Farmers' Satisfaction With The Village Remoulding Of Minhang District

The project of village remoulding is an effective measure which can upgrade therural infrastructure, promote the human habitat ecological environment and improvethe living standard of farmers. While the effectiveness evaluation of villageremoulding plays an important role in improving and refining the decision-making ofprojects. At present,as the result of the supply of government and the actual needs offarmers is not equal, farmers as the beneficiaries of village remoulding, are in apassive position in the process of village remoulding. Although the governmentinvested heavily, the actual effectiveness of village remoulding is not ideal. Thispaper investigates the farmers' satisfaction and takes it as an important indicator toevaluate the effectiveness of village remoulding. It will help to provide reference forthe next stage of village remoulding.In this paper, profound research is performed concerning the theories andmethods of village remoulding and satisfaction. And the evaluation system of farmers'satisfaction with the village remoulding was established based on a comprehensiveunderstanding of the situation of the village remoulding in china. Then the villageremoulding of Minhang district was used as an example to make the relevantempirical study. To collect the data needed to study though questionnaires. Authortakes the fuzzy synthetic evaluation method to evaluate the farmers' satisfaction.Finally, it analyzed the influence factors of farmers' satisfaction and the cognitivedifference between experts and farmers in the importance of the indicators.It draws the following conclusions:(1)The village remoulding of MinhangDistrict is generally accepted by the rural residents;(2)Four Projects—river dredging,bridge repairing, reconstruction of water supply facilities and sewage treatment—arethe key driving factors affecting farmers' satisfaction. We should focus on improving them.(3)Four social and environmental factors—capital investment, impact offloating population, quality of planning and design, long-term managementmechanism—have certain effect on farmers' satisfaction.(4) There were significantdifferences between experts and farmers in determination of index weight in externalwall renovation and street light installation.
