In recent years, as China's political and economic reform process in the gradual deepening, China's civil service examination system reform has made remarkable achievements, basically achieved by the traditional personnel system to modern civil service system, established the basic frame of the system of state civil servants, in order to form a" civil law" for dominant, from a number of individual laws and regulations for supporting the management of the civil service laws and regulations system. But due to various constraints, the civil service examination system in the process of operation also had many deficiencies, affects the vitality of the examination system of civil servants.In contrast, area of our country Taiwan, the modern civil service examination system was established earlier, a relatively perfect system. But with the mainland areas, with the development of society, the examination system of civil servants in Taiwan area of our country is still encountered many problems, restricted the development of civil service system.This paper selects the cross-strait civil service system as the research object, to the civil service examination system as the main starting point, analysis of cross-strait civil service examination system differences and the advantages and disadvantages, the hope of China's civil service examination system development is drawn lessons from somewhat. In this paper, based on the examination system of civil servants, civil service and government reengineering and other relevant theoretical knowledge, through the collection of China mainland and Taiwan region related to the civil service examination system information, supplemented by fieldwork, in-depth analysis of Cross Strait in the civil service examination system has similarities and differences. On this basis, the cross-strait civil servants recruited conditions, examination, test procedures, test authority, test content, test principle, test type and other aspects of the comparative analysis, find out the respective advantages and disadvantages.
