Talents are the most valuable resources. Teachers at regular high schools are intellectuals who would contribute to the development of our nation. Moreover, they play the most important role in the development of regular high schools in China. In the hope of making the most of these valuable resources, we are supposed to regard them as talents in the first place. A motivation system, which would be beneficial to high school teachers, is yet to be set up so as to maximize the roles of high school teachers. Based on this proposal, this thesis intends to survey the current situation of motivation system for high school teachers in Xishan District, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. As well, it will combine questionnaires of teachers'overall satisfaction and data analysis so as to analyze the current situation of motivation system. And hopefully, this thesis will do its part to improve motivation system in Xishan District, Wuxi.This thesis consists of six chapters:Chapter one makes a brief introduction to the topic at hand, its background, studies concerning this at home and abroad, significance, aims, methodologies and the like.Chapter two is to introduce the theological perspective regarding human resources management and motivation system.Chapter three involves survey on high school teachers'satisfaction level on their jobs. In different ways and from different perspectives, this thesis will analyze the current situation of motivation systems in Xishan District, Wuxi. Also, it will touch upon the problems existing in it.Chapter four will further this research on the basis of research conducted in chapter three. More importantly, it would aim to set up an outline of the motivation system for high school teachers and also bring up the rules and modes to apply this system. This would put the educational idea,"to build top schools, talents are top concerns", into practice. And meanwhile, it is likely to provide some supports for researches on high school teachers'motivation system.Chapter five comes to conclude this thesis.This research consists of significances and new ideas as following: I. It suggests that we could research on high school teachers'motivation system from the perspective of human resources management; II. With the help of survey on the current situation of motivation system for high school teachers at Xishan District, Wuxi, it sets up a new outline of it; III. Through the researches on some given proposals on reforming motivation system, particularly under the circumstances of performance-related pay, this thesis will discuss how to raise teachers'pay, how to apply motivation system. It is likely that this thesis, along with its proposals will provide some theoretical support for talent resource development and management.
