As the new Curriculum reform is around the cornor, it is not difficult to find out through a re-examination of the traditional political science teaching :the traditional political class is too rational and put one-sided emphasis on moral values and the inculcation of theoretical knowledge, while ignoring the students as an individuals who own emotional needs , ignoring the autonomy of student activities, and alienating the students from the real life.The political class of the new concept curriculum should be back to life, return to the community.Only in this sort of class will the student be enabled to think, learning to think about life, concerned about the country's destiny and the future of the nation, improving the personality and self-conduct, as well as devoting to life-long exploration and learning, which is the aim of our fundamental politics teaching. To achieve this purpose, we need to change the teaching methods from the start.Situational approach is a proper method used in our political class teaching.The author has done some research about the necessity and feasibilit of situational approach and the problems which should be paid attention to through own practice.
