Experiment About Research Studying In Volleyball General Courses For Physical Education Majors

In the 21^st century, while the torrents of science and information sweep across the globe, a reform—which bases on the development in science and technology and which emphasize on creation and upgrading—emerges. This proposes new requirement to the cause of education, that is, the new talents who integrate creativity and practice should be cultivated. The education reform is extremely urgent. In the new The Full-time Ordinary High School Course Program (a Revised version of the Trial) promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 1999, research studying is put on the list of national teaching program. Research studying has become the hotspot, light spot and difficulty in basic education course reform, and it has been extended to the whole stage of basic education. However, the focus in the implementation of education reform is the teacher, and the problem that demands prompt solution in the promotion and implementation of the new course of basis education is the adjustment of the teacher. In the field of physical education, college students majored in physical education are the main force of future PE teachers, and the executants of future PE course reform. Therefore, in order ensure the smooth implementation of new course reform, the reform in the college students majored in physical education must be carried out first.This paper utilizes method of materials collection, questionnaire, observation method, statistics and experiment. Basing on the preceding researches, this thesis analyzes the current situation of research studying both at home and abroad and its theoretical basis, explores how to permeate research studying into the general course of volleyball for Physical Education Major students to improve their tactical level; arouse their interests in volleyball; develop their teaching ability and the ability to find and solve problems as well as their study independently; improve the teaching quality; and provide operational reference to the application of research studying in volleyball technical teaching.This thesis has carried out a teaching experiment of research studying on the physical education major students of 2009 who take the general course of volleyball in Capital Institute of Physical Education for a semester. The result of this experiment shows that: the application of research studying in the general course of volleyball on physical education is practical. Through raising questions or circumstance guidance, research studying can be carried out in various ways, and it can arouse the learning motivation of the students, enhance the learning interest of the students effectively; in the teaching process, research studying attaches importance to the learning process of the students and advocates that the students should experience and explore personally; therefore, research studying is superior in developing the students'ability to find and solve problems compared with the traditional teaching method; in the process of students training, research studying pays attention to directionality, and in the teaching process, it focuses more on the training of the teaching ability of the students besides teaching them basic knowledge and skills. So we can conclude that research studying is more effective in improving the teaching ability of the students compared with the traditional teaching method. Experimental group has more advantages than traditional teaching in teaching methods, evaluation methods and classroom atmosphere; teacher-student relationship .So research studying is more satisfied than traditional teaching methods.
