With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform, modern education has paid more and more attention to the cultivation of students' innovative ability. Therefore, fermi problems which derived from life has also been paid much attention to by more and more educators. However, fermi problems in high school physics teaching have not been widely attached and applied.Students have a strong grasp of textbook knowledge, but when they face fermi problems in actual life, they will only apply mechanically, can not correctly analyze the physical process, flexibly use physical knowledge, and then solve problems. In science, especially in physical and engineering education,"Fermi problems" or "Fermi estimate" can be used to do dimensional analysis, estimation, and clearly verifying a practical problem. Its name comes from Enrico Fermi,a famous American physicist in Italy. This kind of problem usually uses limited information to carry out possible calculation to verify the conjecture. In the process of solving the Fermi problems, students need to combine the ability of observation, the imagination of the physical situation, the ability of logical thinking, the ability to apply the physical knowledge, the ability to use the mathematical tools, and the ability to choose the scientific method.Fermi problems are much more interesting than original physics problems.A lot of Fermi problems are all the whims from people. There are more mysteries. In the face of such Fermi problems, students may be more interested and willing to try this new way of solving problems.Interest is the best teacher.Cultivating students' interest in learning physics is the first step to improve students' learning ability. In the study,I used the methods of questionnaire, written analysis and interview to analyze the current situation of the ability of the high school students to solve fermi problems and the difficult reasons. On the basis of this,I put forward some teaching strategies to cultivate the ability of the high school students in solving fermi problems, and carried out a two-month permeation teaching of fermi problems in the test class.According to the before test and after test,I compared the differences between the two groups, and analyzed the reasons. This article is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduces the background, significance, trends at home and abroad, and the main contents of this research. The second chapter expounds the theoretical basis of this research, including the definition of related concepts, the pedagogical basis and the psychological basis. The third chapter mainly introduces the investigation and analysis of senior high school students' ability to solve fermi problems, including the present situation of high school students' physical learning and the investigation of the cognitive and emotional attitude to fermi problems and the analysis of the difficulties in solving fermi problems by high school students. The fourth chapter puts forward seven principles and seven strategies to cultivate high school students' ability to solve fermi problems. The fifth chapter makes a systematic analysis of the results of the experimental test by using the SPSS statistical software, and uses the Z test to inspect the results of the experimental class and the control class, and carries out a comprehensive discussion. The sixth chapter,on the basis of the previous research, gives the conclusions and teaching suggestions of this study, and points out the shortcomings of this study and the problems to be discussed in depth. The teaching practice shows that the teaching strategies proposed in this paper are effective and proves that the students' interest in physics and their learning ability are improved through the fermi problems.
