Research On Problems And Strategies Of Educational Quality Of Graduates

Since the policy of expansion of higher education was implemented, the fast development of postgraduate education and the popularization of higher education almost have been promoted synchronously. With the number of Master degree postgraduates increased year by year, postgraduate education has achieved considerable achievements. However, under the background that the popularization of higher education promoted gradually and existing resources of higher education relatively limited, the imbalance between the continuous expansion of Master degree postgraduate education and how to ensure the educational quality has increasingly emerged, and the problem of Master degree candidate's quality has become the focus and an urgent question today. The process of education in college is key factor to the quality of candidates for Master degree, which is directly responsible for the quality of output talents of graduate education. Consequently, in the background of expansion of graduate education, the college should put more emphasis on the quality of graduate education, improve the process of education and adhere to student oriented policy and take the quality as the center to ensure the quality of graduates.According to logic of finding, propounding, analysing and solving problems, the article is divided into four parts. The first part, sum up meaning, purpose, background and current situation and the theoretical basis of the research and point out the research methods and approach. The second part, introduce the process of issuing and recovery of questionnaires and make detailed investigations on the basis of findings and analysis current situation of the graduate education based on the study of Z University, such as construction of the tutor team, the cultivating model, curriculum settings, existing postgraduate training system, condition of culture and so on. The third part, depending on the findings of survey, propound the problems of postgraduate education, make an analysis of the reason, such as inadequate teaching guidance, outmoded cultivating model and so on. The fourth part, based on the problems and reasons of postgraduate education, describe some suggestions and strategies to improve and enhance the quality of postgraduate education. Therefore, the paper mainly proposes several strategies and suggestions from the perspective of universities:firstly, to strengthen the construction of the tutor team; secondly, to reform talent cultivating model; thirdly, to implement total quality management; and finally, to build a nice atmosphere of learning and health academic environment.
