The relationship between teachers and students, whichin throughout the whole precess of education activities, is the most basic interpersonal relationship. This kind of relation is harmonious or not directly affects education activities smoothly, to produce profound effect on teachers' teaching and students' learning. Postgraduate education as the highest level of talent training, is the main source of social elite, and their training quality is an important symbol of the development level of higher education. In the graduate education, supervisors and postgraduate is a pair of interdependent roles, and education is a series of activities launched around both the teacher-student relationship. The degree of the harmony between supervisors and postgraduate, directly affect the effectiveness of the graduate education teaching and quality of high level talented person cultivation. Therefore, the study of harmonious relation between teacher and students becomes very important. Accordingly, this study which based on the communication theory and role theory to investigate the present situation of of relationship between teachers and students of postgraduate education, analyze the impact factors systematically, and put forward the countermeasures to construct harmonious teacher-student relationship. This present study is made up of four parts.The first part is the introduction. The background, significance, research status, research thoughts, research methods, definition of key concept, theoretical foundation are briefly described.The second part graduate discusses the status and existing problems of harmonious teacher-student relationship in postgraduate education. This part mainly nvestigates the statusof the relationship between teachers and students in graduate education, and puts forward the main problems of communication:the utilitarian communication purposes, the unequal status, the narrow communication content, the low communication frequency, the insufficient communication initiative.The third part analyzes the influencing factors of harmonious teacher-student relationship in postgraduate education systematically. This present study discusses from five parts, education concept, management system, communication environment, the supervisors, the postgraduate student.The last part constructs the countermeasures to the harmonious relation between teacher and students in postgraduate education. The present study discusses from four aspects, building scientific education concept, reforming management system and environment, ascending the supervisors'literacy and improving postgraduate students'quality. In concept, it should strengthen the interact concept of the teachers and students, highlight the democratic management awareness, establish the equal teacher-student contact; In university, it should reform management system, improve communication environment. In supervisors, it should enhance their sense of responsibility, improve the personal quality, improve the guide method; In postgraduate students'quality, it should strengthen their respects consciousness, strengthen postgraduates'study enthusiasm, and improve their active communication skills.
