In the era of mass higher education, the implementation of research to effectively improve the teaching quality of higher education has gradually been supported by teachers and students. The rapid development of network technology and the popularization of the access to Internet in China has brought new opportunities and challenges to our higher education reform. This article selects the research in the network environment of teaching activities, aiming to explore the use of network technology to implement the higher education research teaching activities, and effectively improve the learning ability of undergraduate research methods and approaches.With the guidance of constructivist and humanistic theories, this article consult a wide range of literature of higher education teaching models and teaching reforms at home and abroard, selects the physics teacher undergraduate course construction Electrodynamics as an entry point, and conducts exploration of the teaching activities of Electrodynamics on the Blackboard platform. Firstly, on the basis of analysing the domestic Electrodynamics curriculum construction and teaching, this article discusses the importance and feasibility of implementing the teaching practice on the network platform; secondly, it explores the the implement procedure of research-oriented Electrodynamics teaching and the pivot of each phase on the platform of Blackboard.; thirdly, this article carries out exploring activities of research-oriented Electrodynamics teaching on the Blackboard platform, including cognition of electromagnetic great persons, learning the knowledge of magnetic scalar potential and magnetic multipole moments by students themselves, and carrying out the small special topic investigation. Finally, it arrives at a conlusion about implementing series of activities of research-oriented Electrodynamics teaching on the Blackboard platform, and gains some further thoughts.
