.5-6 Year-old Children In The Picture Book Reading Moral Judgment

Adults often ignore the real reaction of children in picture books reading. This study want to explore the relevant issues and want adults can respect the characteristics of moral judgments in picture books reading of children.The research, mainly uses the methods of quantitative and qualitative. It describes and analyses the characteristics of moral judgments in picture books reading of children aging from 5 to 6 years old. It compares the moral judgments in picture books reading between young children and adults.Then it analyses the differences between the children's reading features and parents' reading. It also analysis the characteristics of moral judgments in picture books reading of young children and the related factors.The research obtains the following results. The characteristics of moral judgments in picture books reading of children are superficial, children pay more attention to the prominent role features, perceptual, children give life and emotion to picture story roles,children use the rules of life experience as their moral judgments standard, children's attribution of moral judgments is very single, children's moral judgments in picture books reading reflect the significant gender differences.Finally, by analyzing the characteristics of moral judgments in picture books reading of children aging from 5 to 6 years old and the related factors, the researcher proposes some suggestions to parents and teachers, as authors they should respect children's specific image thinking, concern about the children's individual differences of interpretation in picture books reading, concern about the theme features of the roles and children's emotional experience in picture books, respect children's moral cognition in picture books reading.
