Private Kindergarten Teachers Survival State Study

The living situation of the teachers in private kindergartens refers to the form or situation which the private kindergarten teacher groups behave against the particular historical and cultural background, including daily life and working conditions of private kindergarten teachers. The aim is that society and related policy formulation department know more about the teacher's life and career development in the western region.By integrating various research methods such as doing questionnaires and interviews, this research deals systematically with the current living situation of the teachers in the private kindergartens in the city of Dazhou and relevant influential factors and put forward some ways on how to improve the living condition of the kindergarten teachers. It is believed that most teachers are satisfied with the housing situation and after-hours activity, but not quite satisfied with their treatment. They are satisfied with their relationship with colleagues, and it needs improving that the relationship between partical parents and teachers and the relationship between the leadership and teachers. All the teachers think that professional developing is important to them, but the opportunities to develop are destitute. The teachers get more recognition from children, less recognition form the leaders. They do not have a strong desire to continue working as a private kindergarten teacher. Less than half the teacher is going to continue teaching. Most teachers can feel happiness in work.It is also believed that society's attitude, the local government's concern; the leader's management, the pressure, in-service training opportunities; parents' attitudes, parents' concept of education; teachers' ability and self-expectations of kindergarten teacher are all the factors affecting the living situation of the teachers in private kindergartens. On this basis, the researchers made some practical solutions including: the attention of the whole society, enhance benefits; create a good atmosphere for the organization, hold democratic conference, release the pressure through a variety of channels, enhance self-ability.
